Hope an exception to the WW rule will be made in this case, a move to explicit content being hosted on .3x domains makes a lot of sense.
Though I fear it will just result in adult sites having both the .3x and the .com
Hosting services now have the power to make the internet safer for kids. Instead of saying "we'll host your porn, bring it on", or "sorry, no porn allowed on our servers", they can now say "we'll host your porn, but only if you use a .xxx domain".
Then browsers like FireFox and IE can block all .xxx domains, unless you get a special browser extension, only obtainable by declaring you are over 18 (or whatever).
Then, governments can make laws saying that all porn must use .xxx addresses.
Let's hope that hosting services take the initiative... perhaps just a couple of major hosts could create a snowball effect...
