My very first question after registering and I can only hope that it is not immensely dumb.

Here is my dilemma ... I registered a domain with a catalog service which now hosts my listings. I'm not happy with my title tag which contain my site name only. I would love to add some keywords to it but it will not let me do it. Is there anything I can do?

Thanks

Hi and welcome to the Webmasterworld,

I would love to add some keywords to it but it will not let me do it.

?

To modify your web site you have to use a page editor.
For instance if your site is in HTML you have to edit it with a HTML editor such as FP.By entering the page codes/tags you can modify whatever you want and add keywords in title and appropriate tags.

Hope this helps you.

Bye

Thank you Specter.

I just want to add something to my domain name. Will that work with a text editor too?

You can do what the catalog service allows you to do. While it is technically possible to edit your title to anything you want, the hosting service may have locked you into something minimal.

They are the people with the answer you need.
