My question is...is there any discrimination against these alternative domain extensions in regards to the various se ranking algorithms?
So what youre saying is that the same exact optimized page with the extension (e.g.) webmaster-world-forums.ws will not rank as high as webmaster-world-forums.com, given that the user types in the search phrase "webmaster world forums"?
Is there any documentation to support this ? Does it relate to specific engines? Do the algorithms somehow place less relevance on a .ws or .tv extension as opposed to the .com equivalent?
I'm asking this because I've had good positioning success with doorway domains using the keyphrase.com and keyphrase.net extensions, but it's slim pickings now with finding good .com or .net names.
