Today a domain, that i want, expires, i understand you have to wait another two or so more month to register it, but is there any way i can register it any quicker or reserve it?

I doubt the owner will renew it as the site has been neglected for the past couple of years.

There is no way to get it any sooner, unless maybe you contact the current owner and offer him money to buy and then he can still renew and transfer it to you. If you don't want to contact him, then the best way to assure you get it is to backorder it via several backorder systems to increase your chances that someone else might get it. You should backorder via pool and namewinner, and if the current registrar is Netsol the backorder from Netsol/Snapnames. If the current regisrar is not Netsol, but the offer a backorder system, then also backorder from them.

.uk names are different.

Nominet try to contact the previous owner before releasing the name. It can be anything form weeks to years after the expiry date shown in the whois before the name is released.

After the name has been marked for delete you can work out when the name will drop but if the domain name is desirable you will not get a look in as Nominet Members get to see the newly released names several minutes before the public do in the whois.
