Hi,
My domain seller is not giving us the facility of locking the domains.

I wanted to know what makes the domain safer if it is 'locked'.

thanks

Locking a domain name, at the very least, prevents a registrar transfer, meaning it won't
get transferred from where it currently is to another registrar similar to it. What else it
does is up to the registrar currently managing it.

If what you said is true, better transfer it to one that does provide locking. And free at
that.
