advice on registering .co.jp and .co.kr

i'm looking for advice on what service to use to register .co.jp and .co.kr domain names from the USA.

anyone have good experiences/good prices?

With .co.jp, one of my clients used "Japan Registry", and said they had good cutomer service and a reasonable price.

thx. they're the only legit one i've found for japan, but since they use their address for you, they charge $300 per year.
not sure how reasonable that is, especially if you want to register more than one addy.

anyone else?

.co.jp domain names require you to have a registered company in Japan. You are also limited to only one .co.jp name.

It is a lot easier, and less expensive, to register a .jp name. Most companies I work with have dropped use of their .co.jp names in favor of the .jp version.

There is a residency requirement when registering .jp names, this is why you'll see a lot of English language services tacking on extra charges for the names. You end up using their local address for the registration.

I'm not familiar with the .kr process.
