Trying to find the domain names actual location

It must be somewhere!

I've just taken on a job where the domain (a .com) has been registered with one company, hosted with another and now I can't actually find it listed with either of those firms. They have online domain managers, but none show this domain.

It expires soon, so I need to move it to a UK host where I'll have more control, but I just can't fathom out where the d**m thing is.

Any ideas? I'll PM the domain to whoever asks.

Thanks to everyone who PM'ed me.

I've now located the missing domain. The registrar had denied ever dealing with it and referred me onto several others. The hosting company said one of their resellers has it but wouldn't tell me who.

Anyway, almost all sorted now. :)
