Interesting article. But it only covered those who didn't make anything off presidential name cyber-squatting. I wonder if its a sign surfers are becoming more savvy, or if its just a blip on the radar.

This guy should have taken the 5 figure offer; it's still for sale, better than most names too. But if they win the election who knows?

Judging by the hit counter on one of those guys sites, I think I'll stick to more conventional strategies the next time I have to choose a good domain name. Unless I decide to sell waffles.

Heck, I own the name of Kerry & Edwards' political party so, whilst I care if they win, my little domain will still be relevant even if they don't win and I'll just recycle it.
