Im about to purchase a domain containing my two keywords:

key1-key2.com

How is it with the hyphen between keywords? since key1key2.com is taken, would key1-key2.com be the best alternative or does it just sound spammy? How will the SEs react?

thanks

In my opinion one hyphen is fine and SEs don't really care.

We are about to buy 4 domains that each has two hyphens in it. I hope that won't be to much.

If I think I'm OK with 2, then I'm pretty sure one would be alright as well.
