I would really appreciate reading opinions and recommendations on domain names.

I have a definite format in mind for several travel related sites, and before trying to get domain names, would like some feedback.

is "(destination)travelinfo.com" recommended?
how about "travel(destination)info.com"?

On Google, "travel (destination)" and "(destination) travel" get different results for keywords in the <title>, not sure how that works on domain names.

Any other suggestions or recommendations?

Thank you,

I would think travel(destination).com would be better, because it would be easier to remember. You may also want to try (destination).com (if it's not already taken).

hmm. I would have assumed that $destination.com is taken otherwise why would he be contemplating these variations.

I think that (to use an example) alaskatravelinfo.com reads more naturally than travelalaskainfo.com

your URL is one slight advantage, but i would lean towards the branding/memorability aspects rather than the slight advantage the keywords in the URL give you.

Remember - only one of the top ten results for "books" in Google even has the word books in the domain name.
