Finding owners of domain names

Can you find domains associated with a persons name?

Hi

If you want to find all the domain names owned by a person and you have a persons first and last name is there a web site that will list them out if they are not privately registered?

Thanks

Thankfully not as far as I'm aware, not that I know everything.

I would SERIOUSLY be disturbed to find out that this is something that's available out there. I don't do anything illegal, immoral, or - um. Well, fattening is something else entirely.... but anyway, I do NOT appreciate people wanting to circumvent what little privacy I still have.... and yes, I DO give complete information when I register a domain. That's beside the point.

It's just no one's business what sites I own. If you've got a law-enforcement situation, LET THEM DEAL WITH IT - if they will. Of course, they may not. "You pays yo' money, an' you takes yo' chances...."

Thanks

I agree and I would hope not as well. I was just curious if others could track down my domains and what sites I run if all they had was my name or my companies name.

As I said, I don't know everything.... this question came up a couple of months back, I think the bottom line was "no", but you might like to search for that previous thread....

[Keep FIRMLY in mind that we in the US seem to have a totally different attitude toward privacy than do people in some other parts of the world....]

Many people who wish to remain under the radar use fake names in the whois records. In those cases, there's really no way to tell and there never will be.

Exactly. Some of my Russian friends offer service to registering bulk domain for different fake names. The names are generated by script, which messes existing real names, phones etc. Only emails are real.

Thereore if someone wants to hide he is able to do it fast and easy.

Ih other hands nobody offers service to find domain of THAT GUY. But several people have huge parts of whois database (e.g. Godaddy used to have no pictire-code protection)

I'm not so sure the orginal question has been answered. If it has, I'm not getting it. For my interest, allow me to reask. Is there anywhere you can go, type in myname, and see which domains I have publically registered?

edit for typo
