I was waiting for a domain to expire, I watched it go through the 2 month+ redemption period and then a 7 day 'pending delete' phase (I thought that this was supposed to be 6 days).
I checked again today and it seems to have been registered by someone else, however all of the fields in the whois record are blank.
Any ideas?

I checked again today and all fields are still blank. The registrar is 'domain the net'.
Surely this isn't right, how can a domain be registered to no-one?
