Database for reverse IP lookup

Will the Verisign Zone Files work?

I would like to experiment with creating a database for doing reverse IP lookups. Would the zone files provided by Verisign contain this information? If not, where would this information be available?

Thanks!

No, all the zone files provided by verisign will do is point you to the servers for the zones that would contain that information.

There's no central source for the information. You have to build it on your own.

Yeah, if you use VB6, I have a reverse IP lookup program with source code (I didn't create it though, found the source code lying somewhere so compiled it).

Can e-mail it to you if you want. It may be some kind of a starting point (?)
