Selling Domain in DMOZ with Adsense

I own a domain name (NOT the one in my profile, that is certainly not for sale!) with a PR4, currently listed in DMOZ and has Google Adsense running on it. I currently don't use it and it is unlikely that projected will be resurrected, thus I'm thinking of selling it.

Should I take advantage of what the domain has going for it or is the right thing to do is request removal from DMOZ & Adsense? If I decide to promote these aspects of the domain does it greatly increase it's value?

Thanks,
Kris

You Should take advantage of what the domain has going for it now. You may what to wait it out and try to increase it's value over time. It won't increase value.

I just had a thought about this -- if I sold the domain name now, I'd lose what I've earned from Adsense so far this year, right? I believe they don't pay out until you reach $100 or at the end of the year which ever comes first. I don't make much on Adsense with this domain so the end of the year would come first. Perhaps I should wait until then before I consider selling....

One other thing you could do to help your value is to create a web site with free web hosting and have all the sites you make on the free web hosting link to your site that your are trying to sale.

You would not lose your money that you have made, but may have to wait to the end of the year to get it. Google can't take money you earned from you unless they can come up with a real good reason.
