I'm new to the biz (except for a coupla domains I bought back in 1997 for my company).
I have a standing offer for a domain which is the following format:
eXXXX.com
The XXXX is a keyword which gets quite a lot of searches (Overture says 20,000+). So my question is if this domain is worth something. I do remember in 1998 and 1999 when eSomething was as precious as gold by I guess with the Internet bubble burst, the e-s got the axe.
Speaking personally, the ekeyword domain idea doesn't appeal; I'd rather choose a domain that represents the keyword directly, or perhaps a product or service. A good domain will always have a value though and a professional appraisal may be the first step in helping you realise that value.
