Need an advice on domain selection

Dear webmasters!

I hope you all are fine and in good health. I am planning to make a web directory for my country's websites. The directory will have the links and reviews of the websites. I have tried my best to get a nice domain name but most of the good have already been registered. Now, I have two choices

(countryname)surf.com or (countryname)websites.com

English is not a popular language in my country and most of the visitors dont know the meaning of this word "surf" . They might think I am selling the surf poweder for washing clothes. What do you think? Which domain name should I get?

Why don't you use the word in your language for "guide" or "directory", assuming you are trying to market the site in your country.

I'm still a fan of making your own word or unique set of words to brand a website. I'm sure on your long term adjenda you want people all over your country to use it to find products. Make is something thats memorable and not just another searchyourcountry.com is a step towards that goal.
