Transfer Request Help
1st.Post

Hi Everyone,I Have been offered a MessageBoard that is Running with a healthy membership base,I Am relatively new to internet but have some knowledge to get by.

The Foreground.
I have purchased a Domain name and also some Host space.
It includes MySql/Perl/Asp/etc..So it is fuly loaded with the optimum bells and whistles.

The MessageBoard that I have been offered is an Invision powerboard that is Hosted by Invision.

The Question.
I Need to know how to transfer this board to my Domain and Host,if this is Possible.
If you can help at all,I will be eternally greatful.

The Background.
The Owner of this Board is getting Bored with running it,He has approx 300 people who frequently use it each month,I Feel i need to keep all these people together as it has become a great meeting place for us all.

I have until Saturday 14th February 2004 to do this so if you can Help,I need a Fast reply.

Thanks in Advance.

there are few way you tranfer the database if you have shell if not then install new copy of invesion board on your server which is free then ask that person to backup the datbase and give it to you, then you just upload that database on your server its really easy.
