Expired Domains

Getting one of those companies to monitor domains for you

I’ve been looking at getting one of those expired domain companies to monitor a few domain names for me, But I’m curious to know how they do things. When signing up I was asked to provide credit card info and this put me off due to the complexity of the “terms of agreement” I began to think that they would register any domain associated to my keyword and charge my card accordingly.
Can anyone enlighten me as to how they operate? I’m new to the forum and not sure if it is ok to mention the specific company.

I use 3 different companies to snap up names and have never had a problem.

Also, remember what happens to us merchants on occasion? Chargeback. If you know what to say there is really no defense to a chargeback if the merchant does not have your physical signature.
