Hello:

I have been paying for a service that provides a list of domains that have expired Dmoz. Up until a few months ago, the services was of GREAT quality. There were 100's of domain in a list that were sent out everyday. This list was not only of domains that expired that day, but of also of domains that still were in Dmoz that were available for registration. A few months ago the service started to slip and the quality in the list has not been so good.

A couple days ago I joined (www.domainsbot.com). They claim to send a daily email of domains that have become available that day from Dmoz. Yesterday was the first day that I received the list, and it SUCKED! Half of the domains already were running with HTML. This shows that the domains did not expired that day. To make things worse, one of the "freshly" expired domains names was purchased by me 2 days earlier. I purchased it from another service that I use.

Does anyone have advise on whom has the best service for publishing a list of expired domains from Dmoz?

>a list of expired domains from Dmoz?

The question is when is a domain really expired?

Several Registrars are now being very lenient with domains that go past their true expiration date (good for them IMHO).

I don't like the pirates that prey on expired domains, the extra leeway that is now occurring with some registrars is a good thing;)

In regards to expired.....

This would be domains that are currently in Dmoz, yet are available for registration. In other words they are not currently owned by anyone.

I used to purchase most of the expired dnames at exody.com, they're one of the original and update daily with thousands of dnames.

Now, I use a partner's domain name drop service, which is private.
