I forgot to renew domain

I have the following problem:

I forgot to pay for the domain and
now it has REGISTRAR-HOLD status and stopped working.

Registrar: NETWORK SOLUTIONS, INC.
Whois Server: whois.networksolutions.com
Referral URL: [networksolutions.com...]
Name Server: NS2.UNMD.NET
Name Server: NS1.UNMD.NET
Status: REGISTRAR-HOLD
Updated Date: 24-dec-2003
Creation Date: 17-dec-2001
Expiration Date: 17-dec-2004

I payed for it yesterday but domain still doesn't work and still has REGISTRAR-HOLD status.
When can I expect my domain start working?

They're held for a while after they expire.

If the nameserver info gets pulled it can take a bit before it's restored. I had that happen with another registrar and it was back in no time.

You might want to give them a phone call instead of waiting for emails to go back and forth if you want to save yourself some anxiety, and just to do a double-check. It's worth it for the peace of mind.

I saw that your domain is registered with Networksolutions. They have gotten better with their customer service now.
If the status is registrar hold you may call them at US & Canada: 1-888-642-9675 Worldwide: [phone] and ask them to reactivate the domain.

these guys are crooks you should transfer it outta there quick! go over to [godaddy.com...] there cheaper too..
