I have recently purchased several domains to resell on ev1servers.net. Now I have sold one and much to my horror there is no way to do this on their site! I had to send a letter to domains@ev1servers.net and have been waiting all day to hear a response. Calling them does no godd, they don't know anything about it!
I could just go ahead and change the ownership info to the new owner I guess but it is still on my account at ev1servers.net. This can't be right!
Has anyone been through this with them?

Go into your account at the domain registrar and switch the information there. You can transer your domain from the registrar to any customer in the world. In fact, if the current domain registrar does not honor the request from you, you can file a complaint with ICANN due to the fact that they are in violation of ICANN rules and regulations.

Hope that helps.

Thank you I will do that now.
However this way I still have an account with them and the new owner does not. I have noticed you really DO get what you pay for IN SPADES on the internet.

I can't even log in at ev1servers.net now!
I am freaking out!
I put in my login info and it just redirects me back to the homepage.
This is so horrible!
Help is non existant over there.

Sorry to hear that you are having so much trouble. In order to get into your registrar account, you should not need to go through EV1. YOu can circumvent the situation by just going directly to the domain registrar where you registered your domain name (I.E. Network Solutions, Go Daddy, etc.).

I see, I did not know (until now) that ev1 was their own registrar. Its never a good thing to have both the ragistrar and host as the same company. This like this makes it very hard to manage. Anyways, I would then try and contact someone in their own office (not tech. support) and see if you can make some headway. If you explain your situation in a calm and collective manner, you may get someone that will help you out. Don't tell them that you want to leave, just tell them you want to split up your accounts. They will be more willing with a customer that stays with them, than one that leaves. Alternatively, you can contact ICANN to file a complaint, or to get some advise at the following URL: [icann.org...]

I sent a complaint to ICANN but they just forward the message to ev1servers.net. I am frantic!

Hey...they register your domain via Tucows / OpenSRS. So go to [manage.opensrs.net...] and it will work. Use the username/pass you used while doing the domain registration. I am an OpenSRS RSP myself. Let me know if you need help. You can send an email to support at opensrs and they will respond instantly and have the concerned RSP contact as well.

RackShack/ev1 won't have any trouble doing this I feel.
