Domain name woes

a third party claims to have trademark of a domain name

I have been running and operating a website using a particular domain name for several years... it is a .org name. The third party apparantly has copywrite of this name and wants the name. what are my rights? how can I proceed? =(

Domain names are not subject to copyright.

They are subject to trademarks.
