It's been 2 days since i've changed my dns via the netsol control panel - I've set my site up on the server but still couldn't get to see the site - triple check the server settings & dns name - it's correcto - so could be the problem?

It is likely your ISP that hasn't updating their DNS caching, which is why you are still being redirected to your old host. I switched web hosts and when my ISP hadn't updated their DNS a week later, I finally had to contact them so they would do it.

If you uploaded your site with an IP address, chances are others are already seeing your site on the new host.

If you still aren't able to access the site on the new host, perhaps a call to your ISP will get them to do it quicker ;) Many ISPs will update nightly, or every other night, although there are a few out there (such as mine) that don't find it nearly as important to update as frequently. However, since my complaint, they seem to be doing it nightly or at least every other night now.

No, while with other registrar it's ok - the next day the site is changed to the new host.
The problem is dead - no connection - nslookup - no site.

Check an external DNS. I alwasy go to www.fifi.org/services/ping they have a public ping that lets me see how somebody outside my office sees things.
