godaddy masked forwarding

godaddy has a masked forwarding feature that redirects to a different URL but doesn't change what's shown in the browser address bar.

For the last couple of months I've been noticing that I'm getting timeouts when viewing a site that uses this feature. I can't work out if the problem is with the godaddy masked forwarding or with the site's slow web server.

Has anyone else experienced this kind of problem with the godaddy masked forwarding feature?

When you get a timeout, try accessing the forwarded site (real URL) directly. If you still get a timeout, the issue must be on that end.
