DMOZ / Yahoo Listed Names

I have a lot of DMOZ / Yahoo Listed Names! I also have a list of names that are available.

Do you think it's worth t collect a lot of them?

You want to be careful playing games with dmoz. Some categories are not closely monitored, but others are - in which case funny business will be noted if you are planning on using the expired domains to SEO another site.

The more of them you have - the more likely it is that one of them will be picked up and deleted. If they pick up a couple that are now landing pages to the same site and suspect that there are more, someone may write a script to hunt down and kill the rest of your collection.

I was at DMOZ the other day looking at companies in "my space" and saw a listing for a company I know about. But when I clicked on the link in their listing, I got a 404. Why? Because DMOZ is still listing their OLD domain name. So I put a back-order on the name that DMOZ is still using but which the company obviously isn't (it's a generic domain name that would work equally well for my website). Is that wrong?
