Hi Glisten,
Lisa will know better than me but PIR have had a suspension of transfers of .org domains for about a week while they did some in-house work.I think they are back processing them now so can you find a PIR approved register and ask them to handle the transfer for you?
There shouldn't be a problem unless your name is about to expire. In that case its best to go snapnames.com to backorder it for you to be sure of getting it if it does expire.I hope this is correct advice I am giving you and helps.

Hi cabbie,

Thank for your kindly help :)
But I have try to TRANSFER my .org domain to NSI for 3 time, 1 time to tucows, 3 time to onlinenic within 3 months,
but all fail.
Are there any other way except snapnames? because snap is too expensive(US$9+$129 per domain name) and I have 5 .org domain.

Thank again.

Hi Glisten, Welcome to Webmasterworld by the way.
What was the explanation from NSI that they couldn't transfer your domains? Some registers for some reason put blocks on allowing transfers from their registrar which sounds what your register is doing.A cheaper alternative to snapnames is expirefish.com and as long as there is not alot of competition for your name they should secure it.If it was for .com and .net names I would recommend namewinner.com.They only charge $8.75 which includes the registration but they are hopeless for .org's(I beat them every time)
The problem with letting them expire is of course your site will be down for a month. Why not try to get in contact with PIR themselves and explain the situation.
Lisa said she was seeing PIR in a few days Maybe if you ask nicely (and that she reads this)she can mention this problem to them.
Cheers Alan

thank you.

I have snapnames 1 of my 5 .org domain ,other make free.
I found snapnames.com price in nsi is $5+129 now and
in snapnames.com is only $65?

For domain "PROHIBITED all" Status ,we can't change DNS ,
can't move hosting and more .must still stay there.

I have apply other hosting before i know I can't change
.org DNS ,other unusable hosting is still active by now
and I lost more than $100 for this new hosting :(

Hope PIR could see it.

Thank again cabbie

I have been running around the ICANN meeting all week, I have talked with PIR a few times but not got a chance to discuss anything technical because they were not PIR techs.

But from what I can see if your status is "CLIENT TRANSFER PROHIBITED" and "DELETE PROHIBITED". You do not need to be back ordering anything. The deletion of your domain is not allowed. Seems they have you in a pickle and they know it. I would contact PIR directly and ask them what is the proper resolution to a non-PIR registrar holding a .org domain. And how you get it moved away from that registrar.

I think we will leave this post here, I found it helpful so I am sure others may as well. The question of orphin registrars is a good one.
