Hi How do i go about changing Registrant details of a domain name i own? I'm with 123 but they dont have an option in the control panel, just a transfer it to another user at 123.
Do i need to contact nominet?

For changing the registrant of a .UK domain, you'll want to head over to Nominet's site and go through the registrant change & transfer procedure here [nominet.org.uk].
It lists the requirements for the transfer to be initiated & is pretty straightforward, although a small charge (£30.00) is payable.

Can you set up another account at 123 with the new registrants details and then transfer it to that account?

Transferring the domain to another account won't change the Registrant details - this can only be acheived by using the 'transfer to another party' form on the back of the certificate of registration, or by using the link previously mentioned.
