Domain Names - To Own or to Licence?

Hi Woz,

I guess from a end user/web site biz. owner I would never license a domain name. Why build traffic to let someone else have it when done? Even if the biz. fails I might recoup a few dollars by selling it off when done.

I absolutely agree! If I am going to build traffic then I want to reap the rewards, which includes a heftier price if ever I sold the domain.

Still, some people might like to go that way although I can't think of any good reasons why.
