Are there any SE limitations for .cn domain names? I noticed there aren't all that many SERPz containing .cn domains in Google. Possibly due to the "just released" .cn availablility... im not sure. Does Google and others (top 10) treat .cn domain names just as equally as .com/.net etc.?

Regards,
Michael.

Hello Michael and welcome to webmaster world!

You are refirring to China ( country domain extensions)

I would imagine that if you do a search on the Chinese version of Google you would probably find a lot more

I agree the majority are found in the Chinese version, but I purchased 2 .cn keyword loaded domains that I want to optimize for US versions of all the major search engines. Being a newbie (not understanding that a keyword loaded domain will not help your rank at the time of purchase those domains), will I run into trouble here? The site is in english and has absolutley nothing to do with china at all, nor does it contain any chinese writing. The only Chinese thing about it, is the domain tld.

Did I screw up too bad?
Please advise,
Michael.
