I hope you all are fine and in your good health. I have tried to register a domain at GoDaddy by my Barclays connect (also known as debit card), but , Godaddy didn't accept the payment. There is a visa sign on my card and I have enough amount to register a domain. I am wondering if there is any solution to this problem. Does Godaddy or other registrars accept cheques?
UK Registrars such as UKReg or a UK based OpenSRS reseller will probably accept cheques, although you may have to do some investigative work first & find out exactly how you'll need to proceed with your orders.

< off topic > Now, I am facing another problem. I received confirmation emails ( domain registration and email activation), but my domain is still not active. I am also getting error "host unknown" while I am trying to send web mail. How can I find out whether my domain is active or not? </offtopic>
1. It takes 48 to 72 hours after registration for a domain name to be fully available. It's just a question of waiting. Just make sure that you have a second email address at a different domain to the one you are registering, even if it is a Hotmail or Yahoo one. Give this second address to the registrar, so they can email you about the domain before it is active.
2. In a previous life, I used to work for Barclays Bank. For your Connect Card, it should work fine with Go Daddy, so you shouldn't need to pay by cheque. If the payment was rejected, it was for a different reason. Try contacting the bank for clarification. However, I would never recommend using a debit card for an online transaction, so you should consider getting a credit card.
