Hi,

You may have an insight to my question I asked Net Solutions the other day. A client wants a domain name that has recently expired ( like a week ago) and I asked Netsol when they were going to release it as it was the very name of my client. I have not received an answer to this question?

Hi Garyh,

Netsol seem to be hoarding Domain Names. We have a few discussions here:-
Snagging a good domain name [webmasterworld.com] and
Netsol Hoarding [webmasterworld.com] and
Netsol Releasing [webmasterworld.com].

I am still "watching" a few domains as I am sure quite a lot of people around the world. The only thing you can do is keep watching. As discussed, if you pester Netsol too much about your wanted domain, then it may backfire on you with the original owner re-registering it, or Netsol registering it, or it being auctioned, or...

Thanks, I may even talk it over with their attorney. The name was being use by another company who's "real" name didn't even come close to the domain name in question. * IT * is the same as my clients.......

I think NetSol would be treading on "thin Ice" on this one if they try hoarding or some other trick to obstruct the registering of a name that was abandoned. I am not a lawyer, but I think there would be an chorus of disapproval from a lot of interested parties. Just my personal thoughts.
