I am getting some unusual emails to a domain name I recently bought. I am wondering if the name is an expired name that used to have a different owner.
- How can I tell if a name I have bought is an expired name?
- If it is an expired name how can I tell who the previous owner was?

First stop if you haven't been there already is [archive.org...] to see if they have any old versions of your domain. Also [****...] can be useful.
Don't know what happened to the 2nd link above. Was it edited for some reason?
