domain redirect set up in IIS

Our Web server is Windows 2000 with IIS that currently hosting the Web site of www.mysite1.com. Now we would like to set another domain of www.mysite2.com redirect to www.mysite1.com.

My question is will this redirect setup need another ip in IIS? If not, how to do that in IIS?

Just set the second URL's IP in your DNS record to point to the first IP - no need to bounce around in IIS.
