NBCi Main Directory changes?

Anyone ever have any luck requesting changes to sites after they've been accepted to the main directory (Editor selected)? I just got an acceptance email regarding a client site. Cool, but...

To get looked at by an editor you need to move to the top in the LiveDirectory. My problem is that the editor trimmed the description and removed the words which made up the phrases that moved the site up to the top. Did that make sense?

I haven't had this happen at Snap/NBCi before. Will the site retain any sort of rank for those phrases even though the words were clipped? Is it difficult to get the description changed after it's been reviewed by an editor?

Thanks.

I requested a change 4 or 5 days ago, got a canned "we'll look into it" reply. No change so far.

I'd estimate that 10% or more of my listings are changed, but they are usually close enough to work for my target. (See 'Banned in Arizona' down in FOO.)

Thanks, I just got the acceptance email today. The site hasn't actually gone live in the main directory yet (though it's vanished from the live directory), so I have no idea how it's going to do. We'll see...

The description is pretty good, they just clipped the stuff that people might search for. Yours on the other hand... LOL, did you also find one that starts, "What's so grand about the Grand Caymans?" or maybe, "What's so hot about hot cross buns?"
