'LookSmart' getting desperate?

Are they adjusting their click-through data?

LookSmart originally recommended that I increase my budget to $45/month which I believe was accurate - I do get about 300 hits/month (from MSN mostly). I didn't increase my monthly budget from the 'free' 100 clicks/month and now I notice that my listing is active for most of the month instead of 10 days per month, and LookSmart tell me that I now only need to increase my budget to $30/month.

Referrals from MSN have increased now that my listing is active most of the month and I notice that the very sparse LookSmart results on the SERPS in question have filled out to 3 pages (there were only half a dozen or so previously).

It seems to me that LookSmart is trying to dangle a slightly more attractive carrot in front of my nose! They appear to adjust their click-through data to whatever serves their purpose. That really gives me confidence in them!

I do wonder if MSN got fed-up with the sparse results too.

I believe this is happening also, visits are much higher than ever before, especially when i increase my budget, and the visits usually leave on the first page... i do think something fishy is going on...
