Domain forward OK for ODP?

Rules say no redirected pages -- Domain forwarded and cloaked OK?

I am using a permanent domain name for the site I am putting in the directory but it forwards to existing web space on "mywebpages.comcast.net/". It is cloaked so the domain name stays in the address field. Is this the same as "redirection" which it says is against the rules? I got the domain name so that the site will have a permanent address even if comcast goes out of business, etc. I don't want to get off on the wrong foot. Joseph

I don't know how "cloaked" your site is, but if it's really really cloaked then it might go unnoticed by the editor who reviews your site-- but I've never found a redirecting site where you couldn't find the actual URL with a little effort.

The tactic is definitely frowned upon, however, because ODP doesn't want to list a site multiple times (which could happen if everyone could get away with cloaking).

It's easy to see the real address in the bottom bar of the browser as the page loads.
I got the domain name to help my dad have a permanent web address, not to deceive anyone. I guess I'll have to get this right before I apply for the directory. Thanks. Joseph

Most categories do not accept redirects.

I do accept redirects but it is enough of a flag to make me send a few minutes checking it isn't a cloak or more likely a mirror or doorway.
