Activating LookSmart Account

Should I?

I am not planning to pay LookSmart another dime but in order to be able to use the $15 of clicks for 20 months I am thinking about activating my account before the 3 month deadline is up.

Is this a good idea? I don't want to support LookSmart but I do want those 'free' clicks. Is there any downside to doing this? Anything I am not aware of?

And am I correct in understanding that if you activate your account within 3 months you will get 20 months of 'complimentary' clicks? When did this 3 months start? (I want to hold off activating as long as possible). Make 'em sweat!

Your up in June sometime, I'd have to read my email again. If you activate it it will cost you 50.00 bucks for your keywords, if you didn't buy that program originally.

I've activated one account, but Overture and Google are already outdoing it hands down!!

The others, I haven't done anything with, waiting for the site owners to make up their minds. Pretty big decision for them, they have to fork out the money, not me.

Oops, aplogize I think you get a @20.00 off deal, if you did before April 30th I think it was, I don't know what it is now.

As long you limit each account to 100 clicks a month you won't recieve any charges for the first 20 months. But remember that after 20 months they'll start automatically charging your CC for the previously free clicks...

"If you activate it it will cost you 50.00 bucks for your keywords"

I think that's just an option.. they never made me do it..

Did you buy your terms before they went PPC?

I believe they also sent out another message to some accounts stating that if they did not spend some cash in addition to the "free clicks" they would not get the free ones after another 3-4 months. I believe that was at searchengineforums someone posted the actual message they reveived.
