NationalDirectory Question

We're in the directory, but how to get into their search results?

I'm webmastering a large company (which is the headquarters company) that makes a well-known product. I've submitted twice to NationalDirectory (with about a year between the 2 submissions). The site *is* listed in the Directory itself, but never shows up within the first 100 results of the index search engine results returned. Its affiliates in Europe and other countries show up on page 1, as well as various vendors selling its products. It's not even listed on a search for its company name (although the affiliates and vendors come up).

Does anybody have any clues as to why I can't get it listed in the search results? It's well listed on many other major search engines. Any info on NationalDirectory would be very welcome.

Thanks in advance.

I've never even heard of NationalDirectory.

Who are they? And why is it important to you to register with them? They're not used by any of the 30+ major portals that I've even researched.

Has anybody ever seen such a referer in their top 50 traffic sources? I doubt it.

I submitted to them oh so long ago, and I don't think I've ever seen a SINGLE referral from them...

They're 100% on my "don't worry/why bother" list now. ;)

Don't spend another minute worrying about them.
