Not sure I understand the question. ODP search bar is operative.

I was having the same problem most of the day yesterday. Whatever it was, it seems to have been fixed. At least for now.

I use the ODP for many reasons, i have to say, including as of a couple of minutes ago that i have'nt come across the search facility not working.

I've had this problem on and off alot recently. No word from DMOZ on why yet. Although, I am pulling a few favours to find out. I do have a theory, however, I really is based on nothing.

1. Dmoz (ODP) update goes wrong.
2. We see results of them tring to fix it by the search being up and down more times than a pair of kangaroos in the mating season.
3. Google attempts an update.
4. Dmoz update cocks Google up.
5. Both have a problem (Dmoz is up and down & Google doesn't update.

Before people have a go at me. This is a wild theory with no proof other than sucumstancial evidence.
