Yahoo Directory - I asked for a change and within 24 hours it was done (no fuss). However, a week later it was back to the way it was and now I get no response. :o
Lycos - Excellent. I've built a friendship with the past two editors of my target section in Lycos. They were very helpful and it was changed quickly. :) However, there's a new editor and I've requested another change. How well will he rank?
On a personal note. If Jem Cook or Jane Otto are reading this. Thanks.
ODP - AAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!. I've have been tring for the past year. They have the wrong company name and a terrible description. I think I've tried every editor and nothing has changed and I get no, zero, natta, zip of a response. :(
Other times it has been a long drawn out antagonising process one that I would not like to repeat to often.
Think it really does dpened whether or not the Editor had a late night or went out the night before...;)
This goes for Yahoo and Dmoz.
you may find that, the editor deems your site as complient with description provided and does not see any reason to change it. Email that editor and find out why ?, if this is an already done so. Then climb up the directory until you get an answer, and ask what is happening with the editor in question. If their is no editor . then climb up the directory. I believe all these details are on the ODP's site.
