AOL and ODP

I have noticed recently that all of my search results are at AOL search are now returning Inktomi results, I think anyway. Is this permanent? I see that they do list the categories at the bottom for further search possibilities but they are not returning the ODP info that they were in the recent past.

I for one am pleased with this.....all of my INK pages are getting placed well, and the results seem be more relevant.

Some stallwart ODP listings of ours which have been there for ages are now gone?

it's not permanent.. I guess they were doing some tech upgrades/changes & threw off the ODP data - they are working on getting the results back in now.

Do anyone know when AOL will begin to use ODP listings. I am really hurt for the past few days by this.

yeah, i've heard something from the "inside" - no specific date yet, but it will probably be INK at least through the holidays.

AOL is now returning this on a lot of searches. And these are non-adult searches.
"Web results may contain objectionable material not endorsed by AOL."

AOL is now not returning some results at all. When I search for one of my more popular products where I was ranked quite well (Myoplex). AOL now returns "Web results may contain objectionable material not endorsed by AOL." This is a nutritional product and in no way an adult product. I am getting the same returns on other products.

bizarre serp's for my main KW. Just did a search and got back all porn sites. Refreshed and no results whatsoever.

It looks like it is fixed now, but all the results still seem to becoming from Inktomi.

All the results I see (as of two minutes ago) are from the ODP.

From my understanding, AOL results are going to be erratic until next year as they implement a better search mechanism using a mix of INK algorithms and ODP data.

As far as I am concerned ODP can just go away. Ink returns better, unbiased results anyway.

From what I've seen since the Inktomi listings have appeared, it's the Looksmart description from the inktomi results in AOL!
