Does a looksmart listing help with ranking in Google ?

or any other search engines ?

I have been added to the looksmart listings and was curious if this help towrds the pogerank in Google or weighs with any other SEs.

No evidence to support that any longer (hasn't been for awhile now). I don't think ls is even spidered deep by Google now. They have an aversion to the $$$ required on the listings.

Google does list pages from the Excite UK directory which is sourced from Looksmart UK.

A well written looksmart title and description as well as selecting the correct category can result in a top listing on MSN.
