I have been getting lots of hits from a #6 listing on AOL (via the Open Directory Project) for several months now but it suddenly disappeared completely.
I found the listing on AOLUK at about #70 but it doesn't seem to be on regular AOL at all.
What could have happened? Is there hope?

Funny, I've noticed just that opposite... that ODP results are back on AOL. It has seemed to go back and forth. See this thread:
Other ODP results are still there! Just not mine! (there might be some others missing too, of course)

namniboose - I retract or modify what I'd said earlier about what I'd been seeing. What I was seeing was updated Inktomi results. See my note in the "Change in AOL?" thread I mentioned in my Dec 6 post.
