How will u get into ODP CAT without editors.

How long it will take for getting accepted.

I think knowone can answer that question try to sign up to be a editor that will take some time too i have waited for along time for bouth of them

ODP editors have rights to edit all the categories listed as subcategories of their ones. But they mostly do it only time from time.

That isn't necessarily true, most Top level editors spend almost all their time devoted to subcats.

you are right as top level editors have nothing to edit in their top level categories (where no one can submit);

most categories with no editor were created by editors of metacategory, and they are edited by them regularly; the problem is with categories which lost its editor - those are abandoned and edited time from time by meta editors until they get a new editor. Such categories are the best to apply for becoming an editor :)
