What is Looksmarts SubDomain Program about?

I saw that Looksmart had a subdomain program but could not find it at their site? Do they give a discount for many subdomains?

dmoshe, welcome to WebmasterWorld. I believe you're thinking of the service to get listed in additional categories, or get additional pages or sections listed. You'll find it at LookSmart's Submit a Site [submit.looksmart.com] page.

Keep in mind that they can still change your description, and when choosing the category, if you're targeting MSN be certain that the category isn't dominated by LookListings at the very beginning, which is available to companies for a minimum $2,500 per month.

LOL! I had a client once who was contacted by LookSmart about enrolling in this specific program. He called me to go over it with me, and after we'd dissected it, his exact words to me were, "Sure. This would work great for us if we wanted to lose money."

Are the benefits so great with a Looklisting? I saw that one gets 5 urls with the Looklisting. What else is there?

Does Looksmart give a discount on the $299 submission if one sends in more than one? Does Yahoo gives discounts for volume submissions?
