Always liked them, not had a problem yet, never even had a description altered. Yesterday though takes the biscuit.

To cut a long story short I submitted a site for review 1st week August, kept checking for the listing, no joy. The category has no editor, the cat above that has no editor, so mailed the person in the cat above that [does that make sense?].

Sent the mail at 10.30am received a reply at 12.56pm saying the site had been added. That is quality service.

Interesting... Just this morning I noticed that DMOZ had added to site that I submitted so long ago that I'd given up hope of ever getting them listed. I wonder what, if anything, is up.

It really depends on the editor in the category or in NFCC's case two cats above. I know there has been a big push in many regional cats to get the unreviewed whittled down. Unreviewed sites are always stacking up and editors are constantly fighting the blazing fires of new submissions. NFCC, you were correct in going to the editor above, that is who edits the cats below them in there are no editors listed. Admittedly, that is a great turn around on getting a site indexed. Congrats....
