HI all
I recently submitted a site that fits several (3)categories to each of those cats with relevant titles and descriptions. Its been accepted into 2 of the categories and I'm still waiting on the third. Of the three the one I'm still waiting on is the most important to me. My question is, will the DMOZ editor see that the site has been accepted in 2 other categories and will this jeopardize my chances of a listing there?...I'm worried I jumped the gun a bit by submitting it to all 3 categories instead of only one - The site IS relavant to all 3 categories though. (I'm running out of nails to chew...)

I'm a relatively new editor at ODP, but basically one of three things will happen-

1) They won't add your site to the new cat.
2) They'll add it regardless of the other listings.
3) They'll import your site to the third cat from one of the other cats that you're listed in.

It all depends on the editor.

I add sites to my category strictly on relevance and to some degree, quality.

If I think a site belongs in my category, I'll add it. I don't care where else it's already listed.

I've only actually imported (moved a site from one cat to mine) a site only once. And that was because it was no longer relevant to the cat it was in.

I don't know how much this helps, but I'm sure someone with more experience as an editor will probably respond as well.
