...for link popularity etc?

Is is still worth the effort of submitting to NBCi?

Anyone know if it increases the chance of a spidering by Google or counts as a 'high authority link'?

It's still referring fairly significant traffic to my pages, mostly from their co-branded ISP partners. That said, I wouldn't spend any large amount of time there. Part of NBCi's unseen "kick" came from the meta engines, but I think recent GoTo/FindWhat partnerships have all but eliminated that.

I'm not sure about the spidering or authority hub questions. As far as authority, my experience seems to indicate "Yes" re Google lately. But that's always a very subjective call, other factors such as an increasing number of incoming links from other web sites could be nudging Google to boost my rankings.

thanks for that feedback

I think I will do a few tests with some underperforming domains that I have on my server.

Will advise any success/failure.
