I am not sure of the point here. Whatcha looking for startup? There are a few hundred dozen zillion of those cookie cutter template sites that use the POD script. There was one that went for $1500(?) on ebay not long ago. Nothing more than a ODP spider script and parked on a domain.

Google research. I have found a number of top ten sites in Google with 30 inbound links. Of the 30 none were Yahoo, or Looksmart, they were Dmoz and the sites I listed. Google seems to be applying alot of weight to these links.

Do you enter the URL of the directories that contain your sites listing into Google ? I thought that you could only put the root URL of a site into Google.

Will Google find these listings of its own accord eventually, or does it need a push in the right direction.

If you 'can' enter the directory URL, is it better to enter www.mydomain.com into the search box of the directory and then use the returned URL for Google, thus eliminating the problem of boosting your competition as well ?
