Pressemitteilung: DMOZ spricht in Zukunft Deutsch
Während des vergangenen Jahres haben wir festgestellt, dass immer mehr Nutzer des Open Directory nicht Englisch als Muttersprache haben. Mehr als 40 % unserer Nutzer haben inzwischen Deutsch als Muttersprache, nur noch 5 % der Nutzer kommen aus der Englisch sprechenden Welt. Um den Bedürfnissen unserer Nutzerbasis entgegenzukommen, ist in Zukunft Deutsch die Hauptsprache des ODP, und bewegen unsere Maßnahmen zur Rolle der Schweiz.

Press Release: DMOZ converts to German
During the past year, we have noticed that more and more users of the Open Directory does not English as a native language. More than 40% of our users now have German as their mother tongue, and only 5% of users come from the English-speaking world. To meet the needs of our user base halfway, we are moving to German as the main language of the ODP, and moving our operations to Rolle Switzerland.
